Sun in the fog

A trip to the Puffin Pool this morning meant going through thick fog in the dark, not at all pleasant but everyone seemed to be driving carefully. The pool could have been slightly hotter but it was good to be in the water.
The fog seemed to be even thicker on the way back but when we reached our house we had clear blue skies.
Had a quick turn around as we had to take some passport forms to the Post office in Inverness. I was hoping the sunny sky would continue on our journey which it did for part of it but we were soon back into the fog and this was the view across one of the fields. You can just about see the sheep. I could hear geese around somewhere but no chance of seeing them.
