Dusk From The Office Window

For many people in this area, the day has been spent cleaning up after that massive storm that hit yesterday. Some people will be without electricity for some days and there are thousands of shattered windows in homes, offices and cars awaiting repair after the assault by hailstones as big as cricket balls. Roofs have been ripped off and ancient trees have toppled on cars and homes. Amazingly there have been a handful of injuries and to date, no fatalities.

Here's the view at dusk from the room in my home I use as an office.

But Queenslanders are made of strong stuff and know that this part of Australia is subject to great extremes of climate.
