Magpie-Lark

The calm of the morning turned to chaos as the biggest storm for decades hit Brisbane. Floods, cars carried down streets that have become rivers, giant hailstones smashing windows and power lines toppled by lightning strikes; folk can't get home as rail lines are flooded too and some roads are impassable too.

My place is okay, thankfully.

This Magpie-Lark (Grallina cyanoleuca was hopping around this morning. I'm glad I got my walk in early before all hell let loose!
