Union J who?

Tonight was Coventry's Christmas Lights Switch On event at Broadgate. I went together with this group of lovely people. All night, Jasmine and I have been making fun of the real reason why we were going to the event. We read from the event blurb that the British boyband Union J are gracing the event after the lights will be switched on. I should have been excited upon knowing that but the problem was, I didnt know who they were. If it said One Direction is coming, I will probably be smiling from ear to ear (probably giggle a bit) as I know they are quite a handsome bunch of boys (LOL!). To be honest, I was even surprised and excited to see Postman Pat came out on stage (twice!) Weirdly enough though, Postman Pat came out of the stage twice and did the same skit during his first appearance (killing time?!).

It was chilly outside but we had great fun listening to the music and to the energetic hosts (Sam and Mark) of the event. After Union J sang the song You've Got It All, I then realized that I know it and that I have been hearing quite a lot of them from the radio. I just didnt know it was them.

On another note, Yuanwei and I represented CSC this afternoon during the PG Open Day. We waited and waited but there were no prospective students who registered to meet us. Well the department is going to provide renumeration for the time spent during the event anyway, so nothing is wasted.
