Overheard conversation between a mother and his son:

Mom : They are going to switch the lights on tomorrow.
Son : Why?!
Mom : ..............because that's what they do!

Right, good job explaining the activity Mom!

I had to go to the city centre today to renew my bus pass as my current one expires on Thursday. I also went to Poundland hoping to find Creightons Conditioner but they didnt have stocks (both Poundland shops in the shopping area) so instead i bought packs of Maltesers (unplanned purchases! argghh!).

The Christmas tree and the light fixtures around Broadgate is looking good. The lighting ceremony tomorrow should complete the Christmassy feel of the square.
