Nose Job
This wee guy, and 4 of his quirky friends, came into my life 24 years ago. He was a Christmas present from my daughter, who bought him and his pals from the shop she worked in at the weekends. It was one of those cute hippy type shops, called The Abundant Basket.
For all these years, he has sat on my kitchen windowsill both in this house and the last. Peeking shyly out of his walnut shell home, chin resting in the palm of his hand, he looks permanently ponderous.
The last time the Bandits stayed, Ida asked if she could play with 'the Wee Men', and so I gave them to her. After a bit I realised that rather than playing with them, she was amusing herself by plucking off their facial bodyparts one by one, and this guy's nose was the most obvious casualty!
Cue application of superglue. Good as new (nearly).
I blipped him tonight because I didn't have time to take another decent picture, as I was skiving big time today! Trying to prepare for our Women for Independence get together tomorrow night, and also to put together some stuff that the kids can use to make a birthday present for their Mummy's big birthday this weekend.
