SWALLOW HEAVEN....

... our darling grand daughter (Alice) was ill today so we popped down this afternoon to see how she was going. Thank fully all good and wanted to take Pop out to their back fence backing a park to see if I could find any birds to photo! (teaching her well!!)

Was late in the day and found these swallows having a grand ole time in this bit of sand area in the water course. Sadly could not get much closer so have cropped this to enable you to see them, being so small a bird. Pleased to get as good an in flight shot as this, being they fly so damn fast, and as mentioned we were a good 40 metres away.
