Overnight house guest
This is Milly, our granddog, who is visiting for the night. I blipped her just as she woke up from a nap and rolled over onto her back to stretch. In a recent blip journal I wrote about how we got our dog Gulliver from our daughter's family who then adopted Milly. As you can see, Milly is a big English sheepdog, more than twice the size of Gulliver. She and Gulliver more or less co-exist, but she shows no compunction about eating his food. It's the first thing she heads for when she walks in the house.
Tonight I fed her in one room and him in another, but as soon as I walked away, she headed straight for his bowl and gobbled down all the food he hadn't eaten. Other than that unfortunate habit, she is an excellent house guest, but I'm betting Gulliver will be overjoyed when she goes home tomorrow afternoon.
Weather note: Our high temperature today was edging toward 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The normal temperature for this date is somewhere around 44 degrees. Spring is such a tease! Next week it will probably snow.
