I went for a walk into town this morning - needed the fresh air and exercise.

I came across this roadside banner. It seems to be a protest against electricity pylons and in favour of local, renewable forms of energy. I must ask someone for the background.

It reminded me of the protests in Scotland about the construction of the super pylons between Beauly and Denny.

It also reminded me that Germany won't allow fracking, whereas the UK is pushing it hard - so long as it doesn't take place in the green and pleasant land populated by Tory voters.
