timing

Had I been here on Saturday I could have spent 9 hours at the local recycling centre sawing logs into firewood.

Had I been here yesterday I could have spent half the day unloading the wood and stacking it in the woodshed.

But it had to be done that weekend, and I couldn't change my flights at the last minute.

I've done the firewood routine before, and enjoy it (maybe not the spiders running off the logs and up my arms, or the noise of the circular saw, or the sawdust everywhere, or the smokers in the canteen).

An antidote to my worklife. Anyway the wood is worth €800, but comes free in exchange for the day's hard labour.

The empty trailer was still here this morning. A tractor came and removed it. Not before it got Blipped!
