Rainbow!

Rainy this morning, so we had to adjust our plans for walking as neither of us have brought waterproof trousers! Instead we headed to Kendal for the day to have a browse around the shops.

We were both slightly disappointed by the shops on offer in Kendal so after a scrummy lunch at Wetherspoons, we headed out for a walk I found as the rain subsided! The walk wasn't all that great but we got out into fresh air and the views were spectacular!

It was my turn to pay for dinner, so we headed to Pizza express in Kendal before we headed back to Windermere. Rory treated us to some cocktails at a cute little place in Windermere and we grabbed a bottle of wine to have in our room for the rest of the night.
