Here we go again!

The River Mole is flooded again for much of its length. Yesterday's heavy rain is making its way downstream. Here in the Mole Gap just south of Leatherhead the flood plain is serving its function well. You can see the tower of Leatherhead Church in the distance.
It has been a lovely sunny day. Normous was out early and phoned me with the news that the Mole was flooded, suggesting that I should be out with my camera. Once again Blipfoto has introduced me to new places as I turned off the main road to get closer to the floods. Muddy tracks, isolated farms and new views. Thank you Blipfoto!
