Today we met friends who were grateful to unload multiple troubles and frustration on us when we met them at this pub. They had been for a hospital appointment where Admin errors meant that their 12.30 appointment couldn't take place until 3 pm. They live far away and we had already arranged to meet them for lunch. We were glad to be a sounding board for them, that's what friends are for.

The pub was new to us - we had found it on line. It was very good, and we have agreed to meet there again when Keith has his further appointments
