Awesome Ayr!

I did go out last night to the West Kirk. I went out before the result of the X factor first elimination had come through but mom phoned me on my mobile to let me know who'd gone off. I hadn't asked her to do that I assure you! I was being served with a pint of Sneck Lifter at the time and as the other people stood at the bar had looked round when 'Time Waits For No One' - my favourite Stones track - rang out, I didn't show myself up by saying anything embarrassing that would tell everyone that I'd been watching that programme!

I wasn't out long and was back home in bed before I turned into a pumpkin.

Today dawned bright and clear promising to be beautiful. I am ashamed to say I watched four episodes of Highway to Heaven which is preferable to going to mass anyway. By that time it was after 1pm and it had started raining! We waited a while but then put our coats on and headed down to the beach. Despite the rain, the sun still shone and the clouds were menacing and worth a picture I thought.

Most of the pictures I took were marred with raindrops but I particularly liked this one because of the birds flying overhead.

Go large!

We went back after an hour and I watched last week's Homeland on the iPad while mom burned cooked the dinner. Mom won't let me cook as she's convinced I can't cook at all! Now you all know I should be on Masterchef....
