If you can't beat them...

Snow covered Peaks?

No! Spiders webs! I was heading of down to the wilds of Shropshire to a college friend ready for meeting up with a group of old college friends in Staffordshire on the Saturday. However I didn't need to start until after lunch so we had to nip into town for some shopping. "The Mate" rang just as we were ready to leave to ask if we wanted to see a sight he had never seen before.

Always on the look out for a blip and it being on our way we readily agreed. The sight turned out to be these. One of the fields down from the workshop along the lane where he walks Ash had heaps of waste from inside the farm buildings. These were absolutely covered in cobwebs which were standing out due to a little dew and the morning light.

My trip down to Shropshire was absolutely horrendous, pouring rain and nose to tail traffic moving at a stop start pace. Most of the M6 south of Lancaster was like this and after I turned off on to the M56 wasn't much better with traffic only starting to thin out when I reached the A5.
