Clutha Outlet walk

Had a delightful day catching up with a very old friend D (I knew him and his sister as a school girl) and his cousin. The river was quite high after all the rain in the mountains. We had sun, birdsong and peace. Then hot fresh bread from the bread maker with salad bits, sitting in the sun looking at the view.

The image is straight out of my iPhone. The river has that turquoise colour but seems a bit more that I remember it. I see there is a button saying HDR off or on. When did that get there? Maybe it got accidentally pressed. Anyway I like the effect as it emphasises what a beautiful day it was.
