Wedding days rose

Roses again. They are so beautiful at this time of year.
This rose is called wedding days I think. It is covered in flowers, initially with a yellow centre, which gradually fades as the pollen goes. It flowers profusely for about a month.

I am going to a 2 day intro course for photography by Brian Miller. I know some of it, but am also learning lots. I have been mostly self taught and there are definite knowledge gaps that are being filled.

For those who tried to sort yesterdays pic it was the basis of a new bridge over the Hakataramea River near Kurow. The steel girders were covered in those 10 to 15 cm spikes and the concrete is to be poured over and around them
