B&W Challenge: Day 2

When it was late afternoon and I had taken no photos, I went outdoors to capture the late afternoon sun at the entrance to the park. It is bitterly cold today, and like a fool, I had not dressed for it. I took a few quick photos, all the time keeping my ungloved, very cold fingers crossed that something would be blipworthy.

The photos were nice in color, but then I remembered I had committed to the 5 day B&W challenge and this was probably not the best subject for that. After conversion to black and white, all the glow of the late afternoon sun was lost, so I tried to add back a little warmth and will simply hope that this will count as B&W.
