Copper by the river

Explored a new (to me anyway) path beside the River Massan this afternoon while Mr PB removed a stone from his shoe. In the gloom of 3.30pm (yes, we should get out earlier) this collection of small copper beeches beside the river seemed to light up the surroundings - though by the time we passed them again on our way down the glen we couldn't see the river in the darkness, let alone the trees!
