Berries
I went to the park to photograph our new acting Senior Park Ranger, but she asked me for some autumn photos for the next newsletter as well. I probably have better pictures from previous years, but I did try to capture some today as well.
Over the last week I've been trying to identify some birds feasting on the berries high in the trees - we used to have fieldfares and redwing in the park, but I think that what we are seeing at present are 'just' mistle thrushes. Of course if I take binoculars there are none of these birds, and it I go without binoculars, there are lots of them (at a distance which makes it impossible for me to be sure).
