Fountain of light

The drinking fountain in Greenhead Park, source of hours of amusement for my son who used to love to float sticks in the stagnant water (the fountain is long since disused). Now it is the dog's base for fruitless squirrel chasing.

The sun made a brief appearance late in the day, and in celebration we went for cheese on toast in the conservatory. Marvellous!

(by "we" I mean me and the dog - I am becoming whatever the canine equivalent of a cat lady is).

It was dressing up day at Greenhead College so I was joined at various intervals by a shark, a banana and the Jamaican bobsleigh team.....
