Happy international world toilet day!

19th November is International World Toilet Day. It's to try to highlight the need for better sanitation in poorer countries. Prior to improved sanitation in the UK, in the form of toilets, sewers and drinking water, only 50% of children born would reach the age of 5yrs old, thankfully things have improved greatly in this country. However in many other countries it is not so.

Today me and my partner went to Westonbirt arboretum, so my blip was going to be a lovely tree one. But these toilets really caught my attention. They were in a new building, smelling wonderfully of new wood and they were so stylish, so I felt compelled to take a photo. Then on the way home we listened to the 4o'clock show on radio 4, with Sandi Toksvig discussing International Toilet day, so it had to be a toilet blip!
