The Long Avenue

A quick walk at lunchtime. Paths are getting muddier and muddier so I put a pair of wellingtons on rather than walking boots. What is it about socks and wellingtons? My socks had literally come off my feet within about 100 yards of starting to walk!

Anyway, the colours within the avenue of trees running down from Chillington Hall to Coven are probably at their peek and a little dappled sunshine helped to lift them even more. Maybe we might get some mist in the next few days. Certainly worth a revisit if the weather obliges.
