Oak Leaf Detail

Another visit to the dentist, initially for me to have a new crown. My wife came along because she had been having problems with a tooth while she was eating.

In the end I got off lightly with soe patching and the replacement of a crown that fell out last week (Lucky I already had an appointment). My darling wife, on the other hand, required more substantial intervention with freezing and drilling the order of the day. If the repair is unsuccessful, she will likely need a crown. A bit of a turnaround from expectation.

Anyway, by the time we got back I just had time in daylight to take a close up of this oak leaf, as it slowly decays and dies.
