Betty & Butch....

One of my favourite stores in the city is Betty & Butch in Chorlton. To call it a pet store would do it a disservice. It is a dog lifestyle store. It sells everything for your dog's needs and everything is specially sourced to be of the best quality. And while most pet shops smell of stale dog biscuits, Betty & Butch smells of incense.

Dogs are always welcome of course and they can bring their owners if they are well behaved. The standard of presentation in the store is exceptional at all times. You feel as if you are in an upmarket boutique on King Street. But they really go to town at Christmas. Most stores do a Christmas display but it's usually of stuff they want to flog you with a bit of tinsel draped across of it. But Betty & Butch go for the full Christmas experience and if you spot something in the display you might like...

This is the beautiful exterior. I don't think my picture does it justice. If you are in Chorlton and want to treat your four legged friend for Christmas you could do worse than search this store out.
