Thoughts?

Rubbish photo I know but the point is

What do you think about when watching your money drain into the fuel tank?

I was for some reason thinking back to my youth - now the litres showing equate to about 8+ gallons. When I started driving I could put 4 gallons into the tank of my lovely little Mini Cooper and hand over one of those historic green pound notes and get a little change!

Which then made me think of a very old friend of my mothers who my sister and I used to laugh at when he used to say 'when I used to take your mother out we could go for a meal and then to the theatre and afterwards have a drink - all on a less than £5'.

Don't ask me why these thoughts came to me......perhaps it was the amount of money needed to put enough fuel into the tank to cover about 250 miles - but then it's my choice to drive a landrover!
