Practice, Practice

It was our turn to host the monthly Chiltern Branch ringing practice morning today. It was fairly well attended, the practices used to be held on a Saturday evening but attendance was dropping so it was decided to try Saturday mornings, which appears to be doing ok. I must confess I haven't been a regular at any Branch functions over the last few years and my ringing ability has gone backwards!

Thanks to Mary and Gerald who organised the refreshments and for letting us bring the cake home! Can't beat Mary's homemade cakes!

It was good to catch up with some folk who I haven't seen for a very long time, including a chap who has been, and is still on a similar, journey to me. He is currently unable to drive so I took him home and stayed for a cuppa and a catch up with him and his wife. We both enjoy photography and he also has a Nikon but a little further up the scale than mine! Good times.

Rest of the day was quiet, had to go to Haddenham Garden Centre for dog food and popped in to see Mum.
