Paper cuts

Exam day for this year's cohort - hard to believe my written exam was a year ago today! Did think back a few times throughout the day with a bit of a shudder. Such an awful process. Hopefully this year's bunch went ok. I'm sure they're enjoying an extremely well-deserved drink right now!

The sun made it out for a little while today. The foyer to our apartment block smells a little less like wet dog today (mainly because of the overwhelming smell of burnt cheese jaffle - seems someone burnt the toast). Still a bit chilly but, given it's currently still a novelty to wear warm socks and a beanie and snuggle up under a doona, I'm not complaining.

Off to check out which international conference to attend this year... Cairo? Naples? A couple in the US? Must not make decision based on most exotic travel destination. Must not make decision based on most exotic travel destination...
