Carrot on the lung

In the end, last night's concert was cancelled. Luckily we decided that indoors was a better place to be, as it would have been a disappointing and thoroughly drenched hour of walking there and back. Had our own little concert in the living room over a game of Agricola. No gumboots though.

Third night of extra sleep in a row - feeling pretty good today.

Another soaking wet day - seems set to go on all week. We've been to the Jam Factory to see Men Who Stare at Goats. Maybe not the best place to be in the rain given it had to be evacuated on Saturday. Still, our seats were dry and the popcorn not soggy. Movie pretty bloody odd, but interesting to think about just how much of it could be real.... Overall verdict = video movie.

Quiet evening planned. J is studying maps of the Kimberley ahead of our proposed trip later in the year. I have some work to do...

The weather has necessitated an out-the-window blip today. The sun is setting and it's about to rain... again...
