Star Biscuits

One of the girls made these this afternoon using boiled sweets as the filler for the stained glass effect in the middle of ginger biscuits.

She was trying out the recipe as an idea for school fund-raising next month.

They look very pretty and although edible, they are weird to eat as the crunchy biscuit and the boiled sweet don't really go together in the same mouthful.

Just as well they are for hanging on the tree :)
