Sprouting flowers

We went up to the allotment and managed between us to get the garlic planted (Early Purple Wight this time) and the Aquadulce sown. Hmm - that was quite enough exertion for the day. Bruce's mystery brassicas seem to be revealing themselves as various types of cauliflower. These rather pretty flower spikes turned out to be a couple of "Wok Broc" plants that had bolted. You can just about see the purple-sprouting type heads on another plant to the right - very tasty.

Later I spent a bit more time figuring out unexpected chords in various tunings on the banjo.
