Shopping

On the spur of the moment we went on a shopping expedition; first the farmers market, which mainly concerns delicious food (so I quite enjoy), then into St John's Kirk for some charity X*as cards (aargh!), then along Princes Street (aaargh!!) where I managed to buy some breeks in M & S. I found a pair I liked but they didn't have the size 14 I've been buying for the last 15 years or so, so I risked a size 12 since I've lost some weight. Then the supermarket for a few essentials - that's quite enough shopping for one week month year.

I saw a nice reflection of the Cooperage in the Water of Leith but had to do a quick snap before Mr and Mrs Mallard disturbed it with their wakes.

And the trousers fit - hurray! Even if they have got disappointing false pockets.......
