Development of a Watercolor

It is at its second stage. I love this most about the watercolor
medium: I apply water to surface areas. As it dries, it granulates
i.e. causes pigment patterns. It other words, the watercolor
forms its own pigment patterns. Sometimes areas can become
quite lovely. It is the time when I have least control, that
the wonderful things happen.

My granddaughter's toes are in this photo.....she wanted
to be part of it. :+}
