Mrs Bumble

This is another of my small collection of Toby jugs made by Roy Kirkham of Staffordshire. They are from a collection of characters from Charles Dickens novels. This is Mrs Bumble who was played by the wonderful Peggy Mount in the musical 'Oliver'. She is a Toby jug rather than a character jug since she portrays the entire body of the person. If just her head had been portrayed then she would be a character jug.
