A Grey But Exciting Day

We woke to fog - and it has stayed with us all day!

I was on an IAM observer training course today - which was almost called off again because of the weather. Last time we had to to cut it short because of the traffic!

Anyway we did get to practice some extreme overtaking. A bit scary in the fog and most of us were a little out of our comfort zone, driving in a new way - but there were enough clearer patches and we soon picked it up and had a good day. Driving on the opposite side of the road just feels wrong! Top notch trainers, including police and ambulance drivers, on hand to assist to make sure we kept it safe. Very exhilarating though!
