When I Grow Up....

....I want to be a whole pylon.

A quiet day at home today after the adrenaline rush of yesterday.....

Made some curried butternut squash and apple soup for lunch - very nice it was too and there is enough left for tomorrow :-)

Finlay, Katie and I walked to Headley Hall this afternoon - past the site(s) of the new power line construction.

I smiled at this half a pylon. There was also one hiding behind some trees but I couldn't get a decent shot of it - otherwise you would have had "Pyl 'n' seek" for a title.

Actually, I don't know if this one is being built or dismantled, as I know from the planning application that they were building a few temporary ones to keep the supply going. Further walks will be needed to find out!

In the middle of cooking a roast pork dinner - only an hour to wait....
