At The O2 Tennis

A dull overcast, dry day.

After a trip on a Thames River Bus, we arrived at the O2. This is my first visit to the Arena - it is truly enormous. Talk about the Tardis.

There was a Doubles match followed by the Singles between Djokovic and Nishikori which is featured in the photo. At first it seemed as if it was following the pattern of many of these matches when Djokovic won the first set 6-1. However Nishikori fought back to win the second 6-3. This brought the house down. Unfortunately, Djokovic went on to win the decider 6-0.

After our meal we will go in to see the magnificent Roger Federer. Hopefully it will be a good match.

I am blessed that we have the very front seats of the Balcony and right over the centre of the court. I am grateful to my son and his wife for this wonderful 70th Birthday gift.
