Day 17 - To Deboche (3770m) - ladies in stripes

Continuing our downward journey through the Khumbu region today we wandered through the historic monastery in Pangboche before arriving at our campsite in Deboche (3770m). After lunch we followed the yaks up to the hillside town of Thyangboche which was holding a 3 day religious festival. People had trekked all over the Khumbu to celebrate including this gathering of ladies decked out in their stripes.
