Lonely Tree

The weather has been beautiful again today so we went for a walk down the 'hay bales' path near home. We all wrapped up against the wind, but me and Joseph were feeling too warm towards home, but poor Rik wasn't.
I didn't set out to find another tree but this one caught my eye as it's so tall and lonely. I think it must be some kind of Pine but I'm not sure what type or even how I can find out. It's along a track surrounded by fields on the top of a headland where you can get a lovely view of St. Ouen's Bay. Behind it looking inland across the fields is an old mill that's now a Scout Hut, and the Parish Church. You can click here and see if you're interested.
