One of my favourite sights

Many a time I go down to the rear of the house for hanging the washing on the line, throwing out refuse, re-cycling or collecting logs. As a puppy last year, Hector, would always accompany me, but now it would seem he can't be bothered! He prefers the comforts of the sofa.

However, sometimes he'll poke his head out just to keep a check of my movements and it always amuses me to see his head outlined against the house side.

Today we had a lovely long walk along the lane after the rain cleared up. The welcomed sunshine and warmth was a real bonus after the overcast days we have recently endured.
