View from a Metal Gate

We went in search of the Shetland ponies today, but alas, they were not to be seen in their paddock. On the other side of the bridle way were a handful of plants (annuals?) still in flower. Hector spotted a cock pheasant here.
It was pretty windy and blustery with an overcast sky. A large flock of starlings flew past providing a little entertainment on a rather nondescript lunchtime walk.
