A Few More Flakes

Birds two days in a row! I try not to do that (although I do like this picture). We were at the doctor's today (Mr. L.'s shoulder surgery preop appointment) and I forgot my camera. Loads of photo ops as we were running errands afterwards and it was snowing quite prettily for much of the afternoon, so that was a bit frustrating. The ones that got away are always the best. We went skiing for about an hour around sunset - didn't take the camera then either - too bulky. So the blue jay it is.

The skiing was excellent - it stopped snowing, a soft light bathed the golf course and we had yesterday's tracks, so not so much trudging. I did a magnificent faceplant on the big hill though - now that would have made a good blip!
