From a long time ago
**Spot the EB**
A consequence of my involvement in Mum's care arrangements is going through all of her old papers. The financial advisor needed to see Mum's birth certificate, probably so that he could confirm to the insurance companies that she is indeed 91 years old. The acutal form was still little changed when my wife and I were born in the 1960s. I imagine that the march of technology may have effected some changes in the last 50 years?
I was intrigued by the use of a stamp, probably to confirm the document. Hopefully I might get out into the countryside sometime tomorrow.
