The lives we lead

Next to the hotel there is a car park for lorries. On looking closer I noticed that people have taken up residence on the far side.

More than 1 million people live in Mumbai's slums, working, playing, recycling, caring for each other and bringing as much dignity as they can to everyday life.

I am so grateful for having choices about where and how we live that are not afforded to so many people in the world
