Elusive

My Tui friend has been feeding outside the window on these scarlet bottle brush flowers but every time I try to take a photo he disappears from sight. At present he is in the big tall gum tree at the back of my beach house.... I can hear his very distinctive song but I cannot see him.
Anyway, I have finished painting and this morning attended a book launch by my old friend Bruce Gilberd who lives in Tairua. His book is called Ka the Falcon and is just great. Home tomorrow.
