higher than the birds

this building I'm standing on is gigantic. It is colossal, prodigious, striking and somewhat ugly. It is the perfect trig point when you're wandering around Singapore. On a clear day you can see Indonesia & Malaysia....

There is a hotel below this point that is all class. The overnight rate infers this - but the pool you can swim in appears to make it worth every dollar you spend. The pool of all infinity pools on level 57 - with a bar & restaurant to also enjoy on a warm tropical day...sit under the palm trees or perhaps have the massage you have been looking forward to. Meanwhile the rest of us - in Titanic style, will stick to the Skydeck & look over at you & wonder how marvellous it must be to be over that side ...

Below is where I spent my day - in the Flower & Cloud Domes of the Gardens by the Bay ....what a fabulous engineering concept & achievement to put together. Kudos Singapore (highly recommend the audio tour) on your city in a garden idea.

The tall tree things is where i had lunch at IndoChine - what a magnificent place to dine - & I imagine evening drinks on the rooftop would also be worth writing about...
