Low Morning Light

11.1C starting bright then clouding over through the middle of the day. Some light showers in the afternoon. Light breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went through to Arbroath around 9am and had a wander round the harbour. The lock gate to the inner basin was closed and all but two boats were moored inside making the inner basin very busy. Although bright very little of the low morning light was making its way over the buildings between the two basins and the boats were mostly in shadow.

After lunch Maeve and I had a walk up to the church, down the field with the bridle path to the shore, along the cycle path and back home up the road. The cloud was coming over and the light becoming quite flat.
