Shower

9.5C with bright spells, some cloud, and one or two showers, light breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for a shortish walk after lunch. I thought I would see how she reacted to walking down the road to Westhaven then over the road bridge to the car park by the beach.

While we were at Westhaven the sun came out from behind some clouds and I thought made this little shower cloud look rather dramatic. You might just be able to make out the little dingy moored in the channel in the rocks. If you have binoculars you might be able to see 'Valhalla VI' out to see in line with the shower.

We walked back up the way we came. There is a road sign near our house which indicates there is no pedestrian footway for half a mile, so it is easy to estimate that we walked not much more than a mile altogether. Maeve seems to be fine. She has been sleeping deeply enough to have a dream or two this afternoon, complete with wiggly paws and accompanying noises. I won't walk her as far tomorrow.
