Here comes the storm

I drove part of the way home from work through rain mixed with wet snow. A few miles from my house, the rain stopped and there was a brief glimpse of blue sky. This photo is taken about a half mile from home and I liked how I could see the present and the future in one shot. Sure enough by the time I reached the end of our lane, the wind was blowing snow horizontally. The snow didn't last very long, but the wind kept up most of the afternoon.
