BUSY DAY IN ATHENS

Honestly I don't know how we crammed so much in today...or how much we ate!!!

Had breakfast in the hotel....apparently according to the sign it was award winning!!
Then whilst The Rev went of to get his marathon number etc, Mum and I went for a stroll up the promenade!!! It was sooo hot.

#Then we got a tram into Glyfada and after a coffee break The Rev went off to get a massage (well that's his story) whilst Mum and I walked to this church briefly stopping off to grab a bargain in the M&S sale!!!

#we planned a light lunch stuff tomatoes and Greek salad, but there was quite a lot!

#after a brief rest and a crazy idea to dip in the roof top pool...it was freezing and I didn't!! we got the tram into Central Athens and.....

#visited "The Public" roof top cafe for a drink and to view Sintagma Square by night.

# in the mean time the young lovers had meet as O has flown over too!!

#we got a taxi over to Maria's house and meet her family for the first time and shared the most amazing,extensive and delicious meal! Despite language barriers we had a fabulous evening...and....

# she even bake me a cake!!! Yummy.

Maria's dad very kindly bought us back to hotel at 1:00am in the pouring rain!!!

TODAY'S SMILE: sunshine, a bargain, stunning views and a chance to meet a beautiful family...how lucky is O to be part of it.
